feeding mamatouille's baby: kiwi fruit

I love this little Japanese contraption and use it every day for my little Beansprout. You can unsnap the spring, leave it open, and use it like scissors to cut food, or...

You can snap it shut and use it as a musher...like for kiwi, banana, or other soft foods...

Joel loves kiwi on its own, though he gets a little sour surprise every time, and he also likes it mushed up with banana. Yum. Kiwi's one of my favorite fruits, so I'm glad to pass on that gene (both my boys devour it).

Yay kiwi! Not just for babies. :)

Duo Dishes, I heart kiwi so I'm so glad Joel does, too! :)

I love kiwis. It's good that Joel likes it as it's packed with vitamins.

Reeni, I know, isn't it convenient!

Wow, that is such a great idea! We need those here! The Japanese always seem to have the better baby gear. I prefer their baby nose clearers (or snot suckers as /mr. Fuji calls them) to the totally ineffective bulb thingamajigs they use here in the US.

Fuji Mama, I got it at Akachan Honpo - did they have those in Tokyo? They do have good baby technology over here, don't they!

Yes, we had one in Tokyo and then there was one in Chiba and one in Yokohama! I am an Akachan Honpo addict. Before we moved back I went and loaded up on some things like Japanese style onesies. I miss that place!
