Hi, a friend of mine (for me she is like a second mom) is from Nicaragua and the national drink of this State it's called Pinolillo. It is the same recipe as your mayan chocolate drink, but in Nicaragua they put also some mais flour into the pan. You heat it and mix it well until it became thick (dense). Then you drink it as normal. It's so delicious! You should try that version too!
